Church`s Chicken in Surrey

i enjoyed the chicken burger and poutine and pop which was super filling for one person thank you guys

It’s hit and miss here. I love the food but the service is complicated. It’s always different ether a 2 to 5 min wait vs. a 10 to 30 min wait. As well as you can have the best customer service or the worst customer experience/services. But I have not gone here in a long time because the prices got way to high and the coupons are not coupons there regular price. This goes for all the church’s chickens I have visited.

Service was good but the were out of Pepsi and another soft drink plus bottled water. I asked for fries without salt and she even said to me as she handed me the tray here are your fries without salt, guess what they had salt... They came from a pile of fries sitting under a heat lamp. This location is on Scott road, Surrey

I was there 5 mins before closing time and the lady was super rude in taking my order. When i had a question about the menu she just said “I dont have time for this”.I like church’s chicken but you’re better off going to some other location.

Totally agree with the last review three hours ago. We ordered 4 legs and 8 hot wings. They gave us microwaved dry chickens, and they were dark to black. You can also tell they use the oil repeatedly for many times from the smell. Then we wished to change some newly fried chicken and upgraded to "white", which means first-time oil and you can do it in other Church's locations. They told us they can't do so and insisted they are following the procedure. Well, it's probably not the staff's problem. They just have much lower standards.

Popeyes used to be my favorite but I'm actually in love with Church's chicken. The spicy tenders are amazing. It felt less oily and the fries are very nice. I think I will choose this over other fried chicken in Surrey next time.

The staff on the front reception specially tall man does not have customer service. Very late and even not food properly packed.

Super rude staff. My food was cold and was not according to instructions at all. They don’t know the meaning of the customer service. This location is worst location of church’s.

Great staff they are very accommodating and polite. If you call ahead of time the hook it up! They have times not found in the States like 20 piece spicy wings.

I love church's chicken, especially their spicy tenders! Unfortunately this location has disappointed me several times. They do not answer their phones when I try to call ahead for pickup, they don't want to give me sauce for my chicken (I have to ask several times), the staff are generally rude and unpleasant to deal with. The pricing also seems to change and lack consistency. I have given this location the benefit of the doubt at least five times because they are the closest location to me however I will be taking my business for fried chicken elsewhere now :(. Cheers.

This is probably the best Churches around. Great service with a amazing staff that is super helpful and pleasant to talk to. Ever since I tried Chicken from this location I have frequented the location with my Dad.

I ordered a spicy chicken burger to go. The burger had no chicken patty in it and it was just cheese and lettuce. I also told them to give some extra hot sauce and ketchup and they forgot to give that as well. I was wondering why they even bothered to pack the bun.I called church’s chicken and they said they cannot do anything about it. The staff does not know how to pack an order. The store is very unprofessional and the service is very disappointing.

Decided to try Church's again after 40yrs. Have discovered Popeye's lately and wanted to do a comparison. Order an 8pce. Combo (half/half), fries and 4 biscuits. Nothing convinced me a repeat was necessary. The fries while crispy reminded me of McCains krinkle cut and the biscuit was so dense and doughy. The sweet glaze was the best part. While the coating is ok, I found the chicken tough and dry. Use of older chickens equals bigger pieces but not better. The wings are huge but have extra bones attached due to way it is cut making it hard to eat. The breast piece is cut (as shown on the plate), with very little meat, maybe used for their chicken strips as well.Service was friendly. Located in a strip mall with good access and sufficient parking.

I got a chicken sandwich combo for like 8 dollars. This thing had the strength of 2 McChickens at least! Straight chicken breast!!! It was the best burger I ever had!!!!

I tried them both in Burnaby and Richmond. The burnaby one was better in my opinion.The leg & thighs were juicy and tender. The flavored chicken was yummy. And the 3 pieces combo was substantial. Thanks!

When you don’t have time to cook and you need a decent meal, this is the place to go for a quick chicken meal!!!

Every piece of chicken was burnt and hardly edible. The skin is the best part... Not from this location though, "the crunch means they DON'T care" Will never go back.

Good guilty pleasure food and the staff were really friendly! They went out of their way to entertain our kids when we were ordering take out!

Great service. Decent menu. Chicken could be cooked better and the presentation of the food needs to improve.

The staff is always friendly even on a busy Friday night. Sometimes I have to wait longer for my order, but I understand because it’s a busy place. They don’t mind fixing things they have ran out of if it’s not too late and if you don’t mind the wait. Just make sure you check your order before you leave the store. This is not a bad thing. With it being really busy you might leave without a small item. I don’t believe that any oversight is intentional. Food has always been hot.

They over fried hot wings with repeatedly used oil. The smell of food was also disgusting. Staffs insisted they followed procedure and what they provided were "Church chicken". Please don't ruin Church chicken. Strongly suggest to get training from other locations of how to make Church chicken.

Their Large fries are no longer in a big box it's a small box enough for 2 servings not even n is this really chicken it's just not like how they used to be doesn't even taste or look like chicken nomore

...Drive through,seems rich Indian girl,but Rude to me,will try not go there any more.I Ordered 5 legs,no other people behind me...closed window,let me wait long time,when finally opened window again,handed them to me,legs were not hot! Tasted not tender or fresh,a little bit hard to chew.

A long standing fast food place with a great recipe and portion size. Eat in area for customers. Free surface parking in their lot. #LetsGuide

Sorry can't review worst than that as 1 is the least star,still can't believe they microwaved fried chicken tender before serving me and their grilled wrap wasn't grill... Least the can remove grill before wrap in the menu

It was so busy at 10pm! Ruby did a great job handling all of the customers and getting everyone their orders. She worked quickly and didn’t show no signs of stress!

Fresh, Hott, good food and good service.

Love Church's chicken but not this location. Just ordered 8 pcs chicken and ended up having only 7. I wasn't able to check it since I'm in a rush. Piece of advice to the customers, always check your order and your change.

I love churchs chicken once in awhile

Fast and efficient service. service is always something important to me when going out. but their biscuits were so gross... I'm not even sure what kind of biscuits they were. but they tasted so stale/old. I didn't like it at all. besides this, their fries and spicy chick thighs/ were alright.

Awesome food .... but ambience needs re work

Stopped by here Saturday night for a quick meal to go I was in and out in 5 minutes. Good chicken good service and friendly staff. I will be back.

Probably the worst Churches Chicken experiences I've had in a while. Service was pretty bad, with only one girl at the counter when there was a line up. Someone was sweeping the floors while another was putting away stock. Seriously???? The chicken I got was overcooked and very greasy. The girl pulled the fries and gravy from a bag sitting from the heating area to give to me. I assume it was suppose to be for another order that was waiting for the chicken. They were out of the regular chicken so I settled for the spicy since I didn't want to wait. The fries was cold and soggy when I got home which was only 5 min away.
